NHS Econsult & Prescriptions
Using our online GP, you can manage your repeat prescriptions as well as book an online GP appointment. We use quick online tools that link to your local doctor’s surgery, for easy and effective health care services.
Book online consultations once you’ve completed your GP registration online
You can use NHS online to take care of your health-related issues if you can’t get to your local GP clinic. Receive quick and professional advice for a range of health concerns with an online doctors consultation.
If you cannot attend your appointment or consultation, please ensure you cancel as soon as you know you cannot make it, to open up the slot for another patient who requires our health care services.
Please have a look at our videos for more information on the medical centre and the services we offer.
Book an online doctor consultation or see a practice nurse at your local doctor surgery
If you need to come in and see a practice nurse, they can advise you on many aspects of general healthcare and provide the following checks:
● Blood Pressure
● Diabetes
● Child immunisations
● Asthma
● New patient checks
● Coronary heart disease
● Wellman/woman health checks
● Child immunisations
● Contraception
● Cervical smears
We also offer advice for pre and postmenopausal women and foreign travel. There are a few issues we no longer cover. We are no longer able to perform ear syringing and refer cases of wound dressing and post-op stitch removal to the nursing team at the Sudbury hub. Ask at reception for help with recommendations and referrals for these issues.
